4-Day Option is FULL. What Now?
Waitlist Activated for 4-Day Option
Our 4-day option of the Skinny Tire Festival (Saturday - Tuesday) is currently full and a waitlist has been activated. Below are some answers to a lot of questions we have been receiving.
#1 How do I know if I am moved off the waitlist?
If you are already on the waitlist, you will be notified via email if you have been moved off the waitlist and into the 4-day event. This happens weekly, as for a variety of reasons, slots will open up. Please be patient! The last day to be notified is March 2nd, 2024.
#2 Should I register for the 2-day option in addition to the waitlist?
The short answer is: No.
The reality is BikeReg does not offer an easy way to know if someone has registered twice, and with your card automatically charged when moving off the waitlist, there is no way for us to manage your card possibly being run twice, as the two registrations are not related to each other.
In short: We won’t know if you registered for both.
Our advice: If you want to attend the 4-day event, go ahead and make your travel arrangements for Moab and sign up for the waitlist. Signing up for the waitlist is just like registering, except your credit card is only run if you are moved off the waitlist.
While nothing is guaranteed, history shows we have been able to move a fair amount of people off the waitlist over time.
While we can refund a duplicate registration, Bikereg does not refund their required 6% booking fee.
#3 Do I need to worry about the 2-day option selling out?
The 2-day option cannot sell out, so if you do not move off the waitlist, you can then register for the 2-day. You will be notified no later than March 2nd, 2024.
#4 Can I still use my credit coupon when on the waitlist?
Yes! Because signing up for the waitlist is just like registering (except your card is only run if you move off the list), there will be an opportunity to enter your credit code to the registration.
#5 How does the waitlist work with payment?
We want to be incredibly clear regarding how the waitlist will work. Please read the following before adding yourself to the waitlist.
When you sign up your payment info will be stored, but not captured.
By signing up to be on the waitlist you are agreeing to be an attendee, should a spot open up. This means your credit card will automatically be charged and you will be an attendee of the event.
You acknowledge the risk that this is no refund, credit-only event, should you be moved off the waitlist.
The latest you could be notified of whether you are or are not moved into the event will be March 2nd, 2024, by 10pm MST.
If you signed up for the waitlist, and need to be removed, please email us ASAP.
#6 How do I get on the waitlist?
If you have read all of the info above and would like to add your name to the waitlist, do the following:
Click this link and in the “Select Your Category” section, click the checkbox next to the “Four Day Event (Sat-Tues) Waitlist” option, and proceed to checkout.
THE 2-DAY OPTION IS STILL AVAILABLE!
Our 2-day option (Saturday & Sunday) can’t sell out and makes for an awesome weekend of cycling in Moab! We promise the Saturday and Sunday routes also contain challenge, scenery, comradery, and epic landscapes worth training for! Consider joining us for the weekend in Moab!
New Route Summary Map
If you request it, we will spend some time in Illustrator to create it. :) We have created a new simple one page route summary map for the Skinny Tire Festival, to quickly show you all four routes of the Skinny Tire Festival. This map also shows you where aid stations that contain bathrooms, water, snacks, and first aid are throughout each route.
And of course! If you prefer more detailed electronic GPS routes, we still have those as well!

A. Already Registered Participants
Already registered but want to pre-order merchandise? No problem! Simply…
Scroll down to the “Event Items” Section
Choose your jersey size and quantity, and click “Click to Add”
Click the blue button labeled “Register With Outside Account”
Login with the same email address you used to register for the event and check out.
That’s it! We’ll have your jersey or arm warmers ready for you to pick up at rider registration.
B. Not Registered Yet?
If you still need to register for the event, simply add your merchandise items during the registration process and check out.
C. Not Attending
If you can’t attend the 2024 Skinny Tire Festival event, but would still like merchandise, we will add any extra inventory to our online shop post-event.
